The Jesuit Media Lab was made for creatives
by creatives.

The team behind the JML is the communications office at the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States – we make stuff like the AMDG podcast, Jesuits.org, the weekly spirituality email newsletter Now Discern This, videos and more.

We meet kindred spirits all the time: Writers, podcasters, videographers, painters and other creators whose lives and work have been shaped by encounters with God through Ignatian spirituality. These are our people.

And we’ve started the Jesuit Media Lab to gather, form and unleash these creators. Everything we offer is open to the public, whether you’re formally affiliated with the Jesuits or not.

Whether online or in person, we gather communities of creators to support one another. When you participate in any offering from the Jesuit Media Lab, you will meet fellow creators who drink from the well of Ignatian spirituality. Building these relationships is an essential value for us.

The creators we know are hungry to hone their craft and go deep into the spiritual life. Our courses and webinars feature expert instructors and facilitators on topics ranging from the Catholic storytelling tradition to pitching work for publication to graphic design for beginners. Our blog posts, articles and audio/video resources can help you grow your skills at your own pace.

We want creators who work with us to publish their work, whether that’s on one of our own platforms or elsewhere. Our community includes editors and publishers who are always looking for great stuff. And we publish work on our own flagship website, Jesuits.org, and in email newsletters, social media and other online platforms.

Our Team

The Jesuit Media Lab is sponsored by the office of communications and vocation promotion at the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States — based in Washington, DC.

We started the Jesuit Media Lab in 2023 because we have met so many Ignatian creators all over the world and want to focus on connecting and growing this community. Join us!
