Shaughn Phillips is the associate director of youth ministry at the Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford in Ohio. He grew up moving around with his father in the army, but considers Ohio home. He went to the University of Dayton for his undergraduate studies in history and religious studies in catechesis, and received a master’s in theology at the University of Notre Dame through the McGrath Institute for Church Life’s Echo Program. Shaughn has spent the past decade in both parish ministry and high school campus ministry and is passionate about Ignatian spirituality, especially since doing the Exercises himself. He loves spending time outdoors with his wife, Claire, hiking and kayaking or DJing Electronic Dance Music.
