Celebrate All Saints’ Day with Jesuit Media Lab and iconographer Gracie Morbitzer to discuss the enduring influence of saints on our lives today!
Do you see yourself in the saints? Or are they a holy community set apart from our daily lives?
Gracie Morbitzer is an iconographer who paints the saints as modern people you might see in everyday life. Her work invites us to consider the relatability of the saints and aims to foster spaces of inclusion for all within the universal church.
Join us on Zoom November 1st to discuss how understanding and viewing the saints as real people transforms our perspective on these extraordinary individuals.
View Gracie’s work here, and we will see you on All Saints’ Day for a conversation facilitated by Alli Bobzien.
Gracie Morbitzer-Collins is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design and the creator of “The Modern Saints” project, which shows saints painted with character, correct age and ethnicity, and modern style. Learn more: themodernsaints.com
