A higher purpose is calling you to let go, let in, go deeper. This monthlong journey is for creatives of all experience levels and disciplines who seek a sacred space for guidance, growth and support. Inspired by the legacy of St. Ignatius of Loyola, who famously surrendered his sword in pursuit of a higher spiritual calling, we will identify and release creative blocks, self-doubt and limiting stories in order to move forward with greater courage, clarity and empowerment.
During these four group sessions led by Gianluca Avanzato, you will design and refine a short creative writing piece to share with each other in our final session. Through guided meditations, writing exercises and gentle sharing, you will root into your inner knowing as you branch out toward inspiration.
In the spirit of courage, you are invited to enter this community container without a clear writing project in mind — just curiosity and questions. Assignments outside of our meeting time will be optional but encouraged.
All are welcome: all beliefs and backgrounds, all levels of experience and comfort with creative practice. This is a great opportunity for previous Sacred Writing Circle participants to further explore and elevate their creative work.
Week 1 – The Book: Inspiration
Week 2 – The Sword: Discernment
Week 3 – The Vision: Surrender
Week 4 – The Way: Communion
