Three days of creativity, community and spiritual inspiration
Join the Jesuit Media Lab and about 150 of your fellow creators for our first-ever JML Creators Festival, a celebration of the Ignatian creative life!
Building on five years of Ignatian Creators Summits, we’re opening the doors wider and inviting writers, artists, musicians, filmmakers, podcasters and anyone interested in the intersection of creativity and spirituality to gather for three days of inspiration, connection and discovery.
More festival than conference, this gathering will bring together a vibrant community of creators and thinkers for an experience that nourishes the head, heart and spirit.

Inspiring talks and conversations exploring creativity, faith, art and the world around us.Whether you’re a working artist, an aspiring creator or simply someone who finds joy and meaning in the arts, there’s a place for you at the Jesuit Media Lab Creators Festival.
We are hosting the event at Georgetown University’s Capitol Campus, but it’s not merely a nice venue for us. The university’s Office of Mission & Ministry is an active collaborator on the festival, and programming will feature Georgetown faculty and staff. Hoya Saxa!
Located in the heart of Washington, DC, just blocks from the U.S. Capitol, Georgetown University’s growing Capitol Campus brings the university’s Jesuit mission into the center of the nation’s capital. Home to Georgetown Law, the McCourt School of Public Policy and other academic programs, the campus features modern gathering spaces designed to foster learning, dialogue and collaboration. With easy access to Union Station, the National Mall and Washington’s many cultural attractions, it’s an exciting setting for the festival.
We will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 5 and conclude at noon on Saturday, August 7.
Want to book a hotel now? Georgetown University’s Capitol Campus has special rates at a number of local hotels. Availability may change as we get closer to the event.
More details, including programming information, registration fees and more, will be shared in the months ahead.
