Writing can be a profound form of prayer — a way to explore and articulate how God is at work in our lives. But what transforms a personal reflection into a piece of spiritual writing that resonates with others? How can our writing deepen our understanding of God’s presence and inspire action within our communities? Eric Clayton, author and deputy director of communications for the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States, has facilitated workshops to delve directly into questions such as these.

And now, you can host a workshop in your parish, school or religious community.

Why? These workshops will equip participants with the skills to use writing as a means of personal prayer and spiritual reflection, ultimately transforming these insights into stories that can be shared with others and inspire collective action within Jesuit and Ignatian-inspired communities and beyond. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to integrate spirituality and mission through the art of writing and the craft of storytelling.
